More than a project, this is a permanent campaign denouncing the mega-project of the Maya Train. In collaboration with the Illustrated Crisis Network and the SOS Cenotes organization, we have carried out various actions to highlight the threat and destruction this project is causing. Starting with the fragmentation of the jungle, but more importantly, the dispossession that this mega-project will bring.
At Conexiones Climáticas, we seek strategies to bring together organizations, collectives, and individuals in defense of the peninsula's territory.
Through the work of the Illustrated Crisis Network, Conexiones has supported the creation of content displayed in the form of posters and stickers to illustrate the impacts of the train. Local organizations set the agenda, and we advance in close collaboration with them.
