Ciudad Territorio is a project that amplifies the notion of cities as living territories, directly confronting narratives that sacrifice life-sustaining resources in the name of real estate development, economic speculation, and political interests.
We believe in articulation and communication strategies to support those who love and defend their urban territories. The city is not a blank slate; it is a network of life systems resisting the violence of capitalism and the corruption of those willing to put a price on the priceless. Resistance lives in the mind and heart of those who know that another world is possible here on Earth, on their land, which is the land of many worlds.

Axolotl Census 2024-2025
The 2024 axolotl census in the wetlands of Xochimilco, their only habitat, revealed that they are at critical risk of extinction due to pollution, invasive exotic species, and habitat loss.
A wetland in danger and the people working to save it.
Thanks to the efforts of chinamperos and the UNAM Institute of Ecological Restoration, it has been possible to combine ancestral agricultural techniques with conservation science to create initiatives that promote habitat restoration together with the participation of society.
